Hello, Peanut
Amazing — when my allergic kid was a baby, the conventional wisdom was to avoid those top allergens (like soy, wheat, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, etc.) until an older age. Now doctors are saying to forge ahead and feed babies those foods earlier. Hence this new baby food product, Hello Peanut, which the FDA is allowing to claim will reduce allergies in babies. (Sure, you could also thin peanut butter with water and feed it that way, as pointed out in the article, but still, this is really fascinating, and a total 180 from where we were even 10 years ago.
