For anyone near Minneapolis this April-early June, the Minneapolis Children’s Theatre Company will perform Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Musical, the first-ever theatrical adaptation of the series. Fans of the series not near the Twin Cities will have to wait until November 1, 2016, when the next installment of the series hits bookstores, reports Publishers Weekly.
