Food allergy treatment update
Top allergy doc Hugh Sampson, M.D. who is the Director at the Jaffe Food Allergy Institute Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, runs down a list of the latest research and trials, and says, “I am optimistic that in a not-too-distant future, parents will be able to send their food-allergic child off to that party, with the confidence that he or she will return home safe and sound.” I’ll believe it when I see it, but I sure hope his confidence is warranted!
