New York Times to eliminate graphic novel and manga bestsellers lists
Interesting news (link here to EW.com) — the Times, due to limited resources, will reduce how many best-seller lists they publish each week. I had no idea so much work went into compiling these, but per Pamela Paul, editor of the New York Times Book Review, it’s: “More than you would think. Meticulous and thorough data collection, fact checking, copy editing, layout.”
Hopefully this won’t reduce the ways in which authors get their titles in front of librarians and readers.
