One amazing 12-year-old
I’m in total awe of Marley Dias, the 12-year-old behind the #1000blackgirlbooks campaign and a leading voice in the push to diversify #kidlit. This PW article about Marley’s talk with Suzanna Hermans of Oblong Books and Music (woot) is so inspiring, and so impressive. Makes me really look forward to the tween’s book, Marley Dias Gets It Done – And So Can You, out next January.
