Even non-food allergy families are probably familiar with the recent headlines about the massive price hike of EpiPens (which is being referred to as #EpiGate on social media).
The huge backlash Mylan is facing due to their ( let’s be honest) legal but slimy-as-hell actions is directly due to advocacy work from the food allergy community. Kudos to all of you, including celebrity EpiPen spokespeople like Sarah Jessica Parker and Food Allergy Mama Kelly Rudnicki who resigned from their roles with Mylan due to their displeasure with Mylan’s corporate decisions.
