National Bullying Prevention Month
The New York Public Library pulled together a fantastic list of YA books that address the topic of bullying. It absolutely sucks that this is still such a problem for so many kids, but hopefully these and other books can help those kids who are struggling to know they’re not alone.
The first Monday of October is also Blue Shirt Day World Day of Bullying Prevention, so this October 6th, get your teal/navy/sapphire on. It would be nice to see a sea of blue out there, wouldn’t it?
