I was at my favorite local bookstore this weekend, and the bookseller was shocked (and appalled!) that I’ve never read From the Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler by E. L. Konigsburg. Yep, it’s true. One of the most beloved of middle grade novels, and the inspiration behind the blog that I write for, From the Mixed-Up Files of Middle Grade Authors. What are the books you really need to read, but somehow haven’t gotten around to yet?
